Account Executive

General Description of Duties

Will be responsible for contacting businesses and organizations to develop contracts for Document Imaging. This position conducts the majority of sales development activity through office-based sales on Adelante premises. Will develop and maintain a list of prospective customers, marketing lists, referrals from others, networking activities, telemarketing, and new sales calls. Solicits existing customers for additional business, referrals and customer service feed back. Will develop bids, collateral and marketing materials, sales targets and plans to achieve those targets. Closes sales with new customers and facilitates execution of contracts. Maintains professional business contacts to expand work or business opportunities in the community. Contributes to development and maintenance of business and marketing plans for Document Imaging. Participates in trade shows, actively promotes Document Imaging, acts as liaison for Document Imaging in the business community.

Education and Training

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Public Relations preferred. Two (2) years relevant work experience. Must have an Intermediate level of skill in working with Excel, MS Office Suite & Outlook. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, with internal and external customers of Adelante. Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Must have excellent customer service skills.

Other Requirements

Must pass background/fingerprint screening and pre-employment drug screening. Must have an insurable driving record and must possess a valid NM driver's license, proof of liability insurance, and reliable transportation. Must have effective verbal communication and writing skills. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and carry 25 lb, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach above shoulder(s) frequently. Community Living Support Staff

Albuquerque and Valencia County

General Description of Duties

Assist clients in their family homes or independent living environments in acquiring skills and/or completing activities of daily living. May include assistance with: banking, budgeting, paying bills, shopping, community safety skills, home management, cleaning, cooking and community recreation and leisure activity identification and participation. Will work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as necessary to meet client needs and schedules.

Education and Training

High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. Years of similar experience may be substituted for education in some instances. Must have the ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with internal and external customers of Adelante. Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers. Must be able to handle behavior problems potentially involving verbal & physical aggression; individuals with medical problems. Have the ability to present a friendly, courteous image for the Agency to the general public, customers, and public officials. Experience working with mental retardation and developmental disabilities preferred. Must complete specific certifications (from our training department) and maintain those certifications throughout employment.

Other Requirements

Must have related experience and be able to work independently, without a great deal of supervision. Must pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre-employment drug screening. Custodial Crew Lead

General Description of Duties

Responsible for leading assigned custodial staff, all assigned associated administrative paperwork as well as assigned custodial serviced duties. Leads and maintains the standard work pace for quality and quantity of cleaning functions; acts as a liaison with each building custodian as assigned; carries out the tasks of cleaning schedule (i.e. vacuuming, trash removal, sweeping/mopping floors, restroom cleaning, dusting, carpet cleaning, hard floor maintenance); makes necessary changes to assist the supervisor and facilitate the customer. Conducts daily inspections of work performed; assists in the preparation of all work schedules as required. Directly leads a crew of 4-8 personnel with disabilities.

Education and Training

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must have three years experience in all phases of custodial work and at least one-year custodial/janitorial experience. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, with internal and external customers of Adelante. Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers.

Other Requirements

Must have a valid NMDL, a clean Agency insurable driving record, and reliable transportation. Must be able to pass our background/fingerprint check, TB test and drug screen. Good people and communication skills required. Must have the ability to motivate assigned staff. May be required to work outside normal work schedule for training, agency meetings, and other related duties. Must pay strong attention to detail and quality. Custodial Supervisor

General Description of Duties

Responsible for the Supervision and leading of assigned custodial staff and all associated administrative paperwork. Work will be performed in a hands-on-fashion. Performs vacuuming, trash removal, sweeping/mopping floors, dusting, restroom cleaning, carpet cleaning, hard floor maintenance, general grounds maintenance, window cleaning, event set ups, tear downs and special clean ups and other tasks as required by the assigned contract. Makes any necessary changes to facilitate the customer; assures all tasks are completed, and reports all issues to direct supervisor. Assure that all work tasks/assignments that have been given are completed.

Education and Training

High School diploma or equivalent or strong custodial experience preferred. Five (5) years general work experience. Two (2) years custodial/janitorial experience is preferred. Must have effective written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, with internal and external customers of Adelante. Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers.

Other Requirements

Must have strong attention to detail and quality, and the ability to apply them. Must be able to remain on feet for approximately 90% of the workday. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Must be able to operate equipment (vacuums, buffers, extractors, etc.) continuously for several hours at a time. Must be able to climb ladders for cleaning purposes. Health Care Coordinator - Valencia County

General Description of Duties

Will be responsible for ensuring assigned health care services are provided/met in a timely manner. Coordinates appointments and arranges for transportation for client health services and ensures follow through; accompanies clients to appointments as required. May accompany clients who require emergency or urgent care to appropriate providers; ensures all follow-up directives are relayed to all relevant parties; performs all related administrative duties Will perform Community Living Support Staff duties as required. Administers medication as directed. Reports any changes in health or nutritional status; records accurate data into logs, case records, etc; assesses clients daily when in the home; performs 6 month health assessments on all clients. Interacts positively and constructively with all parties including but not limited to: Guardians, Case Managers, Therapists, Health Care professionals and all agency personnel; attends all trainings and other related meetings as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Training

RN or certification as a practical nurse (LPN) required. Five (5) years experience in health care with persons with developmental disabilities preferred. Three (3) years supervised nursing experience required. Current licensed to practice nursing within the State of New Mexico. Must maintain CPR, First Aid and other trainings/certifications as required. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, with internal and external customers of Adelante. Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers.

Intensive Skills Trainer

General Description of Duties

Assists adults with special needs in day program setting for a work-like environment and/or training of daily living skills. May include assistance with eating and all aspects of personal care . May include working with individuals with severe behavior problems. Will accompany residents on community outings. Must be able to document individual's progress and make recommendations for program changes.

Education and Training

High School Diploma (or equivalent) preferred with post high school, college preferred. Must have the ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with internal and external customers of Adelante. Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers. Retail Clerk - Part time - Belen

Saturday 10am-8:30 pm, Sunday 10 am – 6:30 pm.

Must be available on weekends, evenings and some holidays!

Bilingual helpful. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, with internal and external customers of Adelante. Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from, supervisors and co-workers. Must complete specific certifications (from our training department) and maintain those certifications throughout employment.

Retail Skills Trainer-Los Lunas

General Description of Duties

May provide back up to meet client's needs as related to placement, training and general supervision.

Service Coordinator - Albuquerque Community Living

General Description of Duties

Responsible for completing, developing, reviewing, and disseminating client documentation. Provides direct client support through working with clients, providing crises management, implementing and monitoring therapy programs, and providing staff training. Completion and monitoring of client Individual Support Plans (ISP's) required. Assure quality of client programming. Ensures that assigned client programs meet or exceed internal and external quality assurance standards. Facilitates client meetings and staff in – services as needed. Monitor funding of assigned clients. Complete and provide funding justification. Works closely with program managers, assistants, therapist, behavioral trainers and other agency staff to coordinate, implement and maximize programs/services for assigned clients.

Education and Training

High School Diploma (or equivalent) required with two years completion of a university program in education, psychology, rehabilitation or other related field preferred. Experience working with people with disabilities required. Extensive knowledge of therapies (PT, OT, SLP, etc.) and skills training principles preferred. Must have effective written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, with internal and external customers of Adelante. Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers.

Sort Technician - Document Destruction

General Description of Duties

Performs sorting of loose and collected paper from various customers and contracts into multiple paper grades; operates sort conveyor machines. Performs facility maintenance duties. Assists with training other personnel as required. Participates in the ISP process, team meetings, time-study process; prepares associated written documentation. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Training

High School diploma or equivalent. Experience working with DD population preferred. One (1) year general work experience preferred. Must complete specific certifications (from our training department) and maintain those certifications throughout employment. Must have effective written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, with internal and external customers of Adelante. Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers.
