Bargain Square will be closed starting March 19, 2020 until further notice due to the Governor’s emergency orders asking retailers and malls to shut down. Our goal is to help prevent the spread of the COVID19 virus. The safety of our staff and customers is our first priority. Continued to check this site and Adelante social media channels for updates. Thank you for your understanding and staff safe out there.
Adelante operates Bargain Square Thrift Store as a social enterprise, providing employment for people with disabilities. We put out thousands of donations every day and we are open 7 days a week, Monday through Friday 9 am to 7 pm, and weekends 9 am to 6pm. Shoppers can find great deals on everything from clothing and housewares to furniture.
Services for People with Disabilities
Adelante can pick up larger donation items, such as furniture, in Valencia County and the Albuquerque metro area. For this service, call Bargain Square to schedule your pick up and we’ll arrange for a truck to visit your home or business.
We Appreciate Your Donations
Pretty much anything in good, sell-able condition.
We appreciate the community’s support with donations. When you support Adelante Bargain Square, whether you are donating items or shopping at our stores, you help us provide retail training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities in our community.
Yes! Your donations are tax deductible!
Adelante is a nonprofit 501c3 organization. Items donated to Bargain Square are deductible for income tax purposes at their present Fair Market Value, if you itemize. The Internal Revenue Service says that Fair Market Value is “the price that a buyer is willing to pay and a seller is willing to accept.” Adelante cannot testify to or determine the value of your items, but there are guidelines available on the IRS website.
