Whether you need customized training for your team, help troubleshooting your computer, or even support to implement Salesforce or a new website, DiverseIT can help. We are local IT team that has experience in computer training and repair services, and we would be happy to work with you.

DiverseIT is a nonprofit program that is helping people with disabilities, seniors, people of color, and women to get started in tech. If you have wanted to start a career in technology or explore tech fields, but haven’t had a way to pay for it, DiverseIT is happy to offer you a solution. We recently got a grant from Encantado Foundation to help increase participation in STEM fields. It was a perfect fit with our work bridging the digital divide and increasing diversity in the IT field. Google IT started in mid September 11, 2023, but we have a few slots still available and will will help you catch up! The next Intro to Tech courses will start November 6, 2023 and January 8, 2024. Desktop Computers Available to the Public for $75!

A big part of what we do at DiverseIT is giving away free computers for people with disabilities. However, there are lots of people in our community that lack computer access who don’t have a disability, so we also offer refurbished desktop computers for sale to the public to help people who might otherwise not have a computer. For just $75, these desktop computers come with the computer tower, keyboard, mouse, and a monitor. It’s a great value. Your purchase helps us continue to provide IT training for people with disabilities, too. We use the process of repairing and refurbishing computers to train people for careers in tech. Thank you for working with us!  

We are Currently Open by Appointment Only.

DiverseIT has a small team that does refurbishing and repairs, plus we do computer training in the community, so we have limited in-person staff. To pickup your computer or drop off a donation, you must have an appointment. Please ring the doorbell near the front door to alert our team of your arrival.

Customized Group Training

DiverseIT addresses the digital divide in a number of ways, including training people how to better use technology. We offer trainings from the basics of how to use a computer to advanced IT certifications.

We have worked with schools and charter schools to provide the indepth IT curriculum that students and parents value today. This can give your students a head start in the IT career of choice.

DiverseIT also trains employees for local businesses, including nonprofits. Whether you need to learn the Google suite, Windows software (Excel, Word, Outlook), or Salesforce, DiverseIT can help.

IT Career Training for People with Disabilities

Adelante has been involved in disability services for over 40 years and DiverseIT, as a community resource of Adelante, definitely cares about people with disabilities. In fact, a primary focus of our work is training people with a variety of disabilities such as autism, to learn about the IT field. Interns repair computers, install software, and earn certifications with the goal of getting a good paying job in IT. DiverseIT also uses our skills to help other nonprofits, companies, and schools, to utilize and access the IT they need. Our team can help set up computer networks, customize your Salesforce software, design and implement a new website, and more.

Computer Donations and Re-use

Refurbished computers are given to people with qualifying disabilities who cannot otherwise afford them. DiverseIT also provides computers to nonprofit organizations, as a community resource.

Computer Repair

Need your computer looked at or repaired? Our IT services are reasonably priced, and if there are every any additional costs for parts or labor, we will let you know before we do the repair. Most repairs cost $50 plus parts.
